BOŠKO, P.: Proposal of measures to increase the competitiveness of companies in chosen sector. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2017. The diploma thesis deals with the financial situation of companies involved in the personal railway transport sector in Slovakia. The main objective of the diploma thesis is to propose measures to increase the competitiveness of the companies. Financial situation is assessed by using classical methods of financial analysis and by calculating one of the modern indicators of company performance, namely economic value added. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts. The first is the theoretical part,which is describing the used methods of financial analysis evaluation . In the practical part will these methods be applied. In the discussion part, based on the findings, there will be proposed measures and recommendations which should lead to improvement of competitiveness of companies in the personal railway transport sector.

Strategy company

The bachelor thesis deals with corporate strategy. The objective of the thesis is to evaluate economic activities of a selected enterprise as a basis for development of a new or modification of the existing strategy. The theoretical part describes approaches to the solution, definitions of strategy and strategic management. It also contains a value analysis of economic activities in 2005 {--} 2007 of a selected enterprise which focuses on embroidery production. The synthetic part contains a proposal of economic activities in 2008 {--} 2010.

Assessment of the explanatory power of bonity and bankruptcy models in terms of the Czech foundry industry

This bachelor thesis is focused on assessing the explanatory power of selected bonity and bankruptcy models in terms Czech foundry industry. Bonity model is expresing comlex level of bonity and financial standing in enterprises. Bankruptcy models can predict a potential decline in business and potencial bancrupcy of eterprises.Assesment of explanatory value of these models is based on a critical comparison of the results of applied bonity and bankruptcy models in two foundry companies, one of which is prosperous, and the second of the selected companies has serious financial problems and has achieved bankruptcy.

Financial analysis of the construction company as the subject of valuation

The subject matter of this bachelor work is a financial analysis of the construction company S.O.K. stavební s. r. o., worked out for the purpose of its later valuation. In advance of the financial analysis, I first focused on an analysis of the company's accounting policy, mainly with a view to the further interpretation of the results from the account sheets. Then I made an analysis of the account sheets. I choose the form of an account sheets overview in absolute expression, vertical and horizontal analyses of these sheets and their brief evaluation. In the next part I choose, from my standpoint, the relevant business ratios for this company and I perform their spatial and temporal analysis. Another part of this work is economic value added (EVA), which proves that the company is able to generate value. In conclusion I evaluated all parts and I found that the conditions for a "going concern" are fulfilled and in case we wish to value the company at this time , one of the discounted cash flow methods would be the best.

The aim of my work was analyse the company EuWe Eugen Wexler ČR, s.r.o. The work is divided into two parts theoretical and practical. The theoretical part contains particular methods of financial analysis which are consecutively used in the theoretical part. At the end was carried out judging the results of my practical part.

Financial analysis of developement project

Překládaná práce přináší finanční analýzu developerského objektu. Jedná se o projekt výstavby Regionální centra Olomouc v rozsahu cca 20.000 m2. V rámci analýzy byl vedle výběru kritéria pro investiční rozhodování, proveden návrh metod pro výpočet alternativního nákladu a popis teorie pro statistické a pravděpodobnostní výpočty související s analýzou citlivosti. Součásti praktické části bylo zpracování profilu projektu a prognózy kladných a záporných hotovostních toků (klíčová část a z pohledu celé diplomové práce nejsložitější). Vybrané rizika a chování projektu v čase a jejich vliv na výslednou hodnotu projektu byl odhadnut v oddíle analýzy citlivosti projektu.
